Robbert 'Robbert Niklas' Wensveen is a 23 year old guy from the Netherlands and lives in a small village near Rotterdam called Berkel en Rodenrijs.

From the age of 13, right after primary school, he fell in love with spinning music at small party’s, given by friends and family. From the year 2000, Robbert got more into the EDM scene. Back in those days he started mixing sets with Magix Music Maker and putted them on a cd for friends. It was mainly hardtrance and hardstyle back then.

The year 2003 was the year where everything changed! Robbert switched from the harder styles into the more trancy sounds. Big responsibility was taken by Trance Energy as the harder styles weren’t his thing anymore. Years flew by and his skills improved to a high level. All his sets are mixed with turntables and cd-players, no computer mixing, just mixing as it has to be, with hardware!

Also his taste in music changed by the time! First it was the more uplifting and techy side of trance, but nowadays Robbert spins a mixture of Progressive House with an Electro Twist, Progressive Trance and some Uplifting Trance with Techy elements. Therefore you never know what to expect from this guy when he will spin a set as everything is possible..!!

The year 2006 was very successful so far! With performances on some events, Cellection Night 1.0 (where he even was part of the organisation), Fuse 2006 and of course the Cellection Radio Specials he managed to get his name on the map! From summer he got involved at the UK Trance Alliance DJ Showcase where he has been the resident for 30 shows! From december 2006 his own Radioshow 'Twisted Desires' started at Pure.FM radio and is now already 53 episodes further and will be broadcasted by 4 different radiostations from january 2008!
